Anju Modi Decodes Wedding Season 2023 Staples At Lakme Fashion Week:

Couturier Anju Modi who is considered to be the gold standard when it comes to everything wedding outfits spilled the beans on her staples for the wedding season 2023 courtesy her newest showcase called ‘Fluid Algorithm’ at the Lakme Fashion Week saying, “The set norms of the tradition can be converted into the modern way of dressing for the contemporary era brides. Hence, at a later date if a bride or whoever is kind of wearing the ensemble can use it with a different ensemble all together.”

The design stalwart gave us examples of DIY styling ideas to use her signature ensembles in different ways saying, “You know you can use the trench coat that can be worn with a pair of pants, jackets can be worn with a drape skirt or a pair of pants. So anything is really possible.”

Anju Modi’s Top Picks For The Wedding And Festive Season From Her ‘Fluid Algorithm’ Collection:

The A - list designer named her favourites from her latest collection saying , “The ivory outfit that the show opened with, the outfit that the showstopper Sanjana Sanghi wore, the lilac lehenga, the blues including all the cobalt blues and indigo blues were fabulous and my top picks” She further added, “Actually each one of them is my favourite but if you ask for my top picks I am mentioning the ones that are coming to my mind.”

Tarun Tahiliani Decodes His Wedding And Festive Season Sartorial Picks For The Season From His Collection, ‘A Celebration of Self-Expression’:

The master designer, Tarun Tahiliani decoded his top picks for the festive and wedding season in an exclusive chat with HerZindgai saying, “So I think beautifully cut, beautifully made clothes are the most important.”

He further gives more details on his love for the pret sarees from his collection saying, “I loved all those concept sarees and also now I have seen a huge confidence and a sense of experiment by Indian women particularly and even men actually. While men are more classic and wear mre funky colours, they come into their own.”

He commented on his admiration for women’s experimental nature expressed in their dressing saying, “But women, they experiment like none other for example you can go to a Diwali function….I went to a beautiful wedding at the chambers in Mumbai and saw this woman wearing one of my jumpsuits in black and gold and she looked stunning. So I think there is a lot more freedom from these kinds of established cliche things you wear this there are lost. The younger generation experiments with everything, you all mix and match.”
