Sunday night was grand as the annual extravaganza of Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort came to an end with the stunning beauty Kareena Kapoor Khan walking as its finale showstopper. She is the brand ambassador of Lakme and walks for different designers on most finale nights. This time when she walked the walk, her ensemble, her makeup, and hairstyle were just so awe-inspiring for all those fashionistas out there.

Walking down in an Amit Aggarwal creation, Kareena was bewitching! She wore a bottle green gown with a beautiful flowing flare. Her neckline was plunging and it had an embellished bodice that looked perfect with the rest of the self-printed outfit. She gave a miss to her jewellery and was styled by Tanya Ghavri who let the outfit do the talking.

Her makeup was a no-makeup makeup look which was perfect. Her chiselled jawline was accentuated with highlighter and coral blush, her lips were given a coral tint and her eyelids were kept nude. Her hair was a mix of a fishtail plaid with a sleek combed head. Her demeanour was just perfect for the ramp and she owned it like every time!

To get a similar makeup look it is all about blending well. However, unlike Alia who plays a lot with the bronzer and highlighter, Kareena had a more matt look. First, moisturise and hydrate your face with the complete Cleanse, Tone and Moisturise routine. For her hair, first, round off with a pony sleek combed and then with the hair make a fishtail braid like this.

To keep the braid fixed and avoid flyaways go thorough with the hair fixer and mousse.

Back to the makeup, when you have done the CTM, start with a concealer to fix the areas that need neutral skin colour especially for dark circles and area around the mouth (that is my problem area so my concealer fixes that).

Next up, apply your foundation and then take a loose powder to bake the area under the eyes. Meanwhile, apply a coral bush with a round blush and you can also give it a slight contour with a bit deeper shade, depending upon your requirement.

Dip your small round brush into a highlighter to give a very subtle glow so that your face doesn't look flat. Now dust off the loose powder and now we move onto the eyes. Take a coral shade to give a hint of colour under the eyes, on the lower lashline. Apply mascara for those beautiful eyelashes and to lay a bit of emphasis on the eyes.

If you want, you can add a bit of the same coral shade on your inner eyelids and outer but keep the middle of eye eyelid colourless. Blend very well so that it doesn't look abrupt.

Do not forget to work on the eyebrows. Given them a little shape with the shade you need as per your skin tone. I prefer dark brown and never a black as that makes the brows look fake.

Finish off with a brush of compact and spray with a makeup fixer to keep the artwork in place.

If you loved the above look then the other look that Kareena flaunted just for the press meet is another stunner.

Here instead of the coral, what you need is warm browns. Do not forget to contour the frame of your face as Kareena's makeup artist has done that a lot and the main game is all about blending!
