Take Inspo From Janhvi Kapoor's Lakme Fashion Week Makeup Look This Wedding Season!

With the onset of the prestigious Fashion gala, Lakme Fashion WeekSummer-Resort 2020 on Feb 11, fashionistas and beauty loves are expected to gorge on whatever news and looks are flaunted on-ramp. Day 1 of the extravaganza saw Jahnvi Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal walk the ramp with Janhvi giving us the summer vibes and Vicky turning up the tempo of hotness.

The Fashion event kicked off at the Jio Garden in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai with Janhvi and Vicky being the show stoppers. Janhvi wore a Rahul Mishra gown which had colourful abstract embroidery all over and gave some serious Summer vibes to us all. Speaking of her jewellery, the actress wore a choker which was simple so that all the attention goes to the ensemble. Onto her makeup, the actress had put on little eyeliner, tons of bronzer and highlights with a simple nude lip.

How to get this look?

CTM: Cleanse Tone and Moisturise

Strobing & Foundation

Take a little bit of strobing cream on the bank of your hand and the liquid foundation that suits your skin and mix it up. Apply it all over the face and neck and if you are wearing a low neck outfit then on the base as well. This gives a dewy shine to your face. Loose Powder & Baking

Next up take a loose powder and brush some under your eyes and let it sit until the end.

Bronzer

Take a bronzer with highlighter mixed or just the bronzer at first and swipe it from a little below the temple of your face till the jawline. But blend and blend and give it a soft appearance.

Highlighter

Now take on the highlighter you feel will pop out and brush it on your cheekbones till the temple, tip of your nose, a bit on your forehead but with a very very light hand, on the bridge of your nose, your chin and if you are wearing a deep neck then on your collarbones as well. If you have a lot of mass and your collarbones are hardly visible then brush some bronzer and sculpt out those collar bones with highlighter on top.

Eye Makeup

Take up a nude shade closes to your skin and brush it on the edges. Take some light glittery eyeshadow and swipe it on your highest point of the lid. Towards the outside of your eyes take up a warmer shade then your skin shade and blend in. Apply a dark brown shadow to bring out your eyes on the lower lashline and on the outermost corners of the eyes. In the innermost corner apply a tinge of sparkle. Take a good mascara and swipe it twice on your lashes. Make sure you go nude with the shade selections so that your outfit does the talking like Jahnvi's ensemble here.

Setting Spray

Now spritz some setting spray all over to set all that makeup.

Now that we are done with Janhvi's look, we cannot forget the very handsome Vicky Kaushal who walked the ramp in a Kunal Rawal creation. He wore a short white bandhgala and straight black pants and a waistcoat, and layered it with a jacket and matching loafers. All us girls sure swooned when the man walked down the ramp with that million-dollar smile.
