Priyanka Chopra, who had stunned everybody with her avante garde look at the Camp Met Gala, arrived at the French Riviera for her debut at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival in a white gown with a sweetheart neckline and gorgeous cape. She soon changed into a red and black embellished dress for the red carpet. The dress had a long train and a sweetheart neckline as well. The actress paired her dress with silver earrings and an on-point line. She embodied a vintage style with her slightly curled locks. Her dress had a risqué slit as well. This is the ‘Quantico’ star’s debut at the Cannes Film Festival where she is representing Chopard.
The 36-year-old actress greeted the crowd and cameras with a namaste. Priyanka Chopra's make-up was on point with winged eyeliner and berry lipstick. Her hair was styled in loose waves which cascaded down her shoulder. Priyanka, who is the only Indian actor with over 40 million followers on Instagram, shared multiple photos of herself from the Cannes red carpet.
On Thursday morning, Priyanka took to Instagram to give her fans an insight into her preparations for gearing up for Cannes. She posted a number of pictures in her bathrobe and looked stunning even without make-up and in wet hair.
Previously, Priyanka shared pictures of fashion icons Lady Diana, Grace Kelly and Sophia Loren on her Instagram account and captioned the posts "Cannes," hinting that her outfits might be inspired by them. Her make-up and gown certainly did have a vintage quality.

Apart from Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone also walked the red carpet on Thursday while Kangana Ranaut stunned with her first look for Cannes 2019. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Huma Qureshi and Diana Penty are also expected to walk the red carpet soon.

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra is awaiting the release of 'The Sky Is Pink', co-starring Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim. She had also signed up for a film with Mindy Kaling, which is about an extravagant wedding set against the backdrop of India.
