Sara Ali Khan’s love for shimmer is out in open. Her latest outing was no different. She is 25 now and getting better by the day, but this time she failed to impress the fashion police. This celebrity daughter attended the success party of ‘Simmba’ organised by Karan Johar where she was seen wearing a multi-colour sequin mini dress completed with a matching headband. It was too matchy-matchy! However, she could have avoided too much of shimmer as we have seen her making drool-worthy appearances earlier. Didn’t we? Her outfit at the party looked little OTT. The ‘Kedarnath’ actor was seen sizzling in a deep pink Topshop shimmer mini during the promotions and opted for the same label at the trailer launch of Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Simmba’. She made separates work at trailer launch of her second release.
She sported a purple wide-leg shimmer Topshop pants, teamed with a sassy black crop-top and finished her look with a pair of metallic pumps.
She isn’t the only actor going crazy for shimmer love. Warina Hussain, who rose to fame with her movie ‘Loveyatri’, has a closet full of shiny outfits. In an interview, she revealed some of her style tips to pull off shimmery dresses at great ease. “Always pair up gold and silver with more of plain outfits,” she pointed out. Similarly, you cannot wear a shiny top with matching pants. It is advisable to have a contrasting idea to team up such outfits. Wear a silver top with a pair of black or white jeans. What about ethnic? “Try to pair up heavily embroidered kurta with a plain dupatta,” quoted Warina Hussain.
