The 69th National Film Awards just wrapped up in the capital, New Delhi on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. The event saw quite a few stars from the Indian cinema universe descend for the occasion. ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ actor Alia Bhatt and ‘Mimi’ actor Kriti Sanon attended the event to receive recognition for their roles in their respective movies. Alia Bhatt attended the 69th National Film Awards wearing her wedding saree which was a signature floral and beige saree made by couturier Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The drape cost Alia a whopping ₹50 lakhs and she re-wore it in style getting each bit of her money’s worth. Her look was styled by celebrity stylist Ami Patel with a pearl choker and matching earrings for jewels, flowers in her hair, a minimal Indian makeup look completed with a symbolic red ‘bindi’.

Kriti Sanon Drapes Herself In A Signature Manish Malhotra Saree

Kriti Sanon attended the 69th National Film Awards draped in a signature Mnaish Malhotra saree that had a beige ‘palla’ and a multihued pleats. The ‘Mimi’ actor teamed it with a ‘gajra’ on her bun and a minimal makeup look.

Priyanka Chopra’s White Embroidered Saree For The National Film Awards

Priyanka Chopra graced the National Film Awards back in 2010 when she was being recognised for her work in the Vishal Bhardwaj directorial, ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’ dressed in a see through white saree in a net material. The drape featured an all over embroidery detailing. PeeCee teamed it up with a plunge neck white hued halter neck blouse.

Back in 2021, Kangana Ranaut made her appearance for the National Film Awards dressed in a traditional gold and rust hued ‘Kanjivaram’ saree number that she teamed with traditional white flowers in her tresses done in an updo and a minimal signature Indian makeup look.
