ChatGPT To Launch GPT 4o

In its first-ever virtual event hosted on May 13, 2024, ChatGPT, the popular AI chatbot announced the launch of an advanced version, GPT 4o. It is all set to have features resembling Scarlett Johanson's character in the movie 'Her.'

According to the reports, the advanced version of ChatGPT, GPT 4o will be way more powerful than the ChatGPT 4. The new upgraded version is believed to change the way we interact with it. Additionally, an AI voice assistant with an uncanny resemblance to Scarlett Johanson’s character in ‘Her’ will also be released. While there is no official confirmation of this, Sam Altman tweeted ‘Her,’ hinting that the voice assistant would be similar to Johanson’s character in the film.

The new features are focused on making ChatGPT feel more like a real person during your interactions with it. Also, it will be able to understand your feelings better and translate what you say in real time. The OpenAI engineers including CTO Mira Murati presented a live demonstration recently which showcased the new capabilities of the assistant.

“Mira Murati clarified that the assistant's voice isn't intentionally modeled after Johansson's, but rather a continuation of voices OpenAI has been using. The enhancement significantly expands ChatGPT's existing voice mode, allowing for more dynamic interaction and responsiveness, as well as the ability to process visual input from users' cameras,” reported India Today.
