25% Reservation Under RTE
According to the notification, children from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and other disadvantaged groups will receive a 25% reservation in various schools across Maharashtra. These include self-financed and unaided schools, police welfare schools, and municipal schools.

Important Instructions for Parents Applying Under the 25% RTE Reservation:
- Children from families with an annual income of less than Rs one lakh qualify as part of the EWS.
- Parents must carefully choose 10 schools for the 25% admission process.
- While completing the application form, the distance between the school and the home must be checked using Google Maps, as per the notification.
- Ensure the application form is submitted within the prescribed deadline to avoid disqualification.
- Parents are encouraged to submit their applications early to avoid any issues caused by technical glitches or internet connectivity problems.
- Fill in the correct information, including the home address, date of birth, income certificate, disability certificate, caste certificate, and other required details.
- Children already admitted to a school under the RTE 25% reservation cannot reapply. Any re-admission attempt with false information will result in the cancellation of the new admission.
- Only one complete application should be submitted at a time. Multiple submissions are not permitted.
- Parents should not upload any documents online during the application process.
