FAQs for guideline 1 – Have Amla every day
What is the best time to have amla sherbet, amla pickle, and amla murabba?
Amla sherbet can be had as a mid-morning meal or as a drink with breakfast. Murabba and pickle go with the main meal, so either with paratha in breakfast, bhakri or rotlo at lunch or dal rice with dinner.
To make amla murabba, should we use sugar or jaggery?
That would depend on your family traditions. The one which is made for specific use as an antacid is made with sugar. Also, the sugar in murabba or the salt in a pickle is used to preserve the efficacy of the bio-active molecules of amla.

We don't have a winter season where we live OR we live outside India and don't have access to fresh Amla. Can we have Amla and how?
Yes, you can. Either in the form of murabba or pickle with meals or even as amla supari. You can also have it as Chyawanprash.
Is there anyone who should avoid Amla?
Everyone can eat amla. The only thing to avoid is excess. Like an amla shot in the morning or adding amla to everything now that you are aware of its therapeutic properties. The key is to revive and reintroduce amla into your life in the traditional form and not to overdo it.
