Turmeric is a vibrant yellow spice widely used in Indian cuisine. Dr Deepika says, “It contains curcumin, a compound with potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, that can enhance the immune system by modulating the activation of immune cells and reducing inflammation.”
