Say no to them as they are loaded with an enormous amount of sugar. Since you don't have teen metabolism now, you will start gaining weight due to excess calories. Also, Phosphates used in aerated drinks accelerates the ageing process. It leads to tooth decay & hinders absorption of many nutrients. A study at Harvard University found regular coke consumption leads to frequent fractures as aerated drinks have phosphoric acid, which depletes calcium levels and bone mass.

An occasional glass of alcoholic drink isn’t a concern, but if the volume or frequency increases, then it is a problem. Excess alcohol dehydrates your body, causes constipation and leaves your skin dry which in turn causes wrinkles. Also, long-term alcohol consumption damages the liver. It is to be noted that women are at higher risk for developing an alcoholic liver disease as their bodies are more likely to absorb more alcohol and need longer periods of time to process it.

Consuming artificial sweeteners can hinder your metabolism. Artificial sweeteners create a hormonal imbalance in women which in turn disrupt their menstruation cycles. Create a do-able goal for yourself, ditch artificial sweeteners & keep a tab of like 2 tsp of sugar per day which gives you 40 kcal & enjoys that. That ways your taste buds will gradually adapt to low sugar levels.
