Dr Batra told us that flavonoids, carotenoids, and phenolic acid are among the many antioxidants found in dates which assist your body fight inflammation and oxidative stress. “These antioxidants can lower the likelihood of acquiring chronic illnesses like diabetes, heart disease, along with certain types of cancer,” she continued.
