If you want an escape from the noise and crowds of the main town and find some real snow, there are numerous places to experience a winter wonderland in and around Shimla. There has been some new snowfall on the upper hills surrounding Shimla since the first week of February, and it has created very scenic places to see. Below are five stunning places around Shimla where you can catch snowfall.

5 Stunning Places Near Shimla To Experience Snowfall This Winter

1. Kufri

Kufri, which is the most popular destination around Shimla, gets much more snow and is situated at a higher altitude. You can enjoy skiing, tobogganing, and horse rides here, and it is the most suitable option if you are travelling with your family and want an active snow park experience.

2. Narkanda

Narkanda, often called the ‘Skiing Capital’ of the region, offers a much more serene and authentic winter experience than Kufri. It stays snow-bound longer, with snow often lasting through March. It is best for adventure seekers, skiers and photographers.
