BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a popular South Korean boy band that has gained worldwide recognition for their music and dance skills. Among the seven members of BTS, Kim Seok Jin, also known as Jin or Worldwide Handsome Jin is known for his beautiful face, charming personality, and love for food. So with his birthday just around the corner, let's talk about his favourite food items.
Jin is an excellent chef who also enjoys eating like an authentic foodie and his Instagram profile is also a proof of this. He would be preparing a feast for his fellow members even before he made his BTS debut, all while managing the few resources available to them. Take a look at some of Jin's favorite food items:
1. Sashimi And Sushi

The first item we have on our list is Sashimi and Sushi. BTS Jin has even made sashimi for the members of ‘BTS In the Soop’ season 1 and even did ‘Eat Jin’ broadcasts on V Live while eating sushi.
Sushi and sashimi are typically made with fresh, high-quality fish, which has a delicate and delicious flavour.
2. Naengmyeon
Naengmyeon is a Korean dish consisting of cold noodles in a chilled broth. Jin has said that he loves the refreshing taste of naengmyeon, especially on hot summer days.
Naengmyeon is a chilled noodle dish that includes vegetables like cucumber and potatoes that provide freshness. The noodles are slurp-worthy since they are so thin.
3. Korean Fried Chicken
BTS Jin is a fan of crispy fried chicken and has been spotted eating it on several occasions. Korean fried chicken is famous for its rich, spicy, and sweet sauce and its crispy exterior.
Pickled radish is usually eaten with this Korean fried chicken. Koreans love eating fried chicken while relaxing and sipping soju or beer. In the popular variety show, 'In The Soop BTS ver' that was released in 2021, we saw Jin cooking Korean Fried Chicken for all the BTS members as dinner which everyone happily enjoyed.

4. Kimchi Jjigae or Stew
In an interview with NME, Jin stated that Kimchi Stew, also known as Kimchi Jiggae, is a regular in his diet. The stew's hearty, comforting qualities are wholesome to anyone who has this dish.
One of the most popular stews in Korean cuisine is said to be Kimchi Stew. The dish is incredibly flavourful, savoury, spicy, comforting, and enticing to almost everyone who tries it for the first time.

5. Seafood

Jin loves seafood and has a particular fondness for lobsters. On Fancafe, an interactive platform for South Korean stars and fans, Jin shared his love of lobster. Upon tasting the lobster for the first time, he discovered an entirely new flavour and chose to keep the lobster as a pet his mother had purchased.
