According to India’s Regional Specialised Meteorological Centre (RSMC), the cyclone might cause storm surges of 2-3 m in height. Flooding, severe damage to standing crops, plantations, and trees, as well as delays to trains, powerlines, and signalling systems, are potential consequences of the cyclone.
