This academy has a gender-balanced group of more than 350 industry experts who decide the rankings. Amongst the top 50 list, two Indian restaurants have also made it onto this year’s list. Top Restaurant On Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2026: The Chairman

This year, the top restaurant that made it to ‘Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2026’ is The Chairman, which is a restaurant based in Hong Kong. The Chairman is a Cantonese fine-dining institution that has earned the honour of topping this list for the second time. This restaurant had previously won the prestigious title back in 2021.

The Chairman is owned by chef Danny Yip, who praises the restaurant's success to his ‘vintage team’. You will get to see an average staff age of around 52 years, and many team members have been with the chef since The Chairman's beginning 17 years ago.

Indian Restaurants From Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2026

The new list for ‘ Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2026’ has been released, and people are focusing on the two Indian restaurants present in the list. On number 15, we have Masque, a Mumbai-based restaurant which is led by chef Varun Totlani. With this year’s honour, Masque will continue to rise in the list. At number 30, we have a Himalayan-focused restaurant called Naar. This restaurant is led by chef Prateek Sadhu, and it's their first time bagging a spot on this list. Naar is based in Himachal Pradesh, and you should definitely add it to your list on your next trip.
