Aazol seeks to provide traditionally prepared food from women-led self-help organisations across Maharashtra. SHGs are rural, women-led collectives that pool their resources to produce goods on a large scale. They do this to support their family financially and to generate jobs in their areas. Each of these 17 SHGs, which operate with Aazol, employs 2-200 women.
