Rajan Shahi Says “I Still Don’t Talk To” Hina Khan

In a recent interview, Rajan Shahi spoke out about his fallout with Hina Khan. He spoke out about how he has had differences with Hina Khan, saying, “I don’t speak to her, neither will I be speaking to her.” But while speaking to Saas Bahu Aur Saazish, he mentioned that regardless of his differences with the actress, he still admires her talent and praises her, saying she has survived in the industry so far because of it.

Why Did Rajan Shahi Replace Hina Khan?

It was a sudden shock to the audience when Hina Khan was replaced in one of the longest-running TV shows, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. In an interview with ABP News, Rajan Shahi explained why he decided to replace Hina Khan. He told the news outlet how the “star system” of soap operas didn’t work anymore, and it was the content that impacted audience retention. The channel questioned his decision and told Rajan Shahi that they would shut down the show. However, his decision was proven right; after Hina Khan’s replacement, the show went from 1.9 to 3.5.

Recently, Rajan Shahi also fired Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe, who were the current leads of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, over the “unprofessional” misbehaviour of Shehzada Dhami with the production unit.
