Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan got married on October 25, 1991, in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony. The couple is proud parents to three children: their son Aryan Khan, born in 1997, their daughter Suhana Khan, born in 2000, and their youngest, AbRam Khan, born in 2013 via surrogacy.

Recently, photos have surfaced showing Shah Rukh and Gauri in Mecca, claiming that the actor had his wife convert to Islam after 33 years of marriage. However, these images are fake and were created using AI technology.

Shah Rukh Khan And Gauri Khan’s Mecca Photos Go Viral

Did Shah Rukh Khan’s wife, Gauri Khan, convert to Islam in Mecca? The answer is a clear no. The couple recently fell victim to AI-generated images that have been circulating on social media, falsely claiming Gauri converted to Islam after 33 years of marriage. These viral photos are entirely baseless and lack any truth.

Back in 2005, during her appearance on Karan Johar's show Koffee With Karan alongside Sussanne Khan, Gauri openly addressed Shah Rukh Khan’s religion. She stated as per Firstpost, “There is a balance. I respect Shah Rukh’s religion, but that doesn’t mean I would convert and become a Muslim. I don’t believe in that. Everyone is an individual and follows their religion. Of course, there should be mutual respect—Shah Rukh would never disrespect my religion, and I wouldn’t disrespect his.”

Gauri elaborated on their family dynamics, saying, “During Diwali, I lead the pooja, and the family follows. On Eid, Shah Rukh leads, and we follow. It’s a beautiful arrangement, and the kids embrace both traditions. In fact, they tend to lean more toward what Shah Rukh says. Both Diwali and Eid are fantastic for them.” As reported by Firstpost, these statements affirm their mutual respect, faith, and harmony within their household.

Another image of Shah Rukh Khan with his children, Suhana and Aryan, has also gone viral on social media. The picture, featuring the year ‘2025’ in the background, has led some users to believe it is a New Year photo of the actor with his kids. However, according to Vishvas News, the image is AI-generated and not . Their investigation uncovered inconsistencies in the image, which were further verified using AI image detection tools. The viral photo, like others circulating online, is entirely fabricated.

In a 2013 interview with Outlook, Shah Rukh Khan shared how practising both religions at home sometimes left his children confused. He explained, "Sometimes they ask me what religion they belong to, and like a good Hindi movie hero, I philosophically declare, “You are Indian first, and your religion is humanity.”
