Actor Ram Charan proudly announced to his fans that he has received an honorary doctorate in Literature from Vels University, Tamil Nadu. He broke the news on his Instagram on April 14, 2024, with a caption, “Happy to receive my honorary doctorate from Vels University! Grateful to the people of Chennai and to everyone who’s been a part of my journey. Here’s to more dreams and achievements together! #velsuniversity”

His wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela expressed gratitude and pride in calling her husband “Dr Ram Charan.” She posted some photos from the ceremony and penned a heartfelt note which said, “Dr RAM CHARAN KONIDELA

Vels University also felicitated the actor by posting on their Twitter handle a picture of him receiving his doctorate with a caption, “Thiru.
