Meet Neelam Gill, Indian-Origin Model Whose Dating Rumours With Leonardo DiCaprio Are Rife

Neelam Gill is everywhere in the news, making headlines in India as well as abroad, because she has been spotted twice with the ‘Titanic’ star and environmentalist Leonardo DiCaprio. 

The Indian-origin model was clicked with the actor at the 'Chiltern Firehouse' in London. The report was published by Page Six, and since then the rumours are rife about their dating. It was noted that the actor’s mother accompanied them for the dinner. They also attended the Cannes Film Festival in May 2023. 

Recently, the actor was making headlines for dating women who were either 25 years old or younger. In August 2022, it was reported that he amicably broke up with Argentine-American model and actor Camila Morrone. The headline sparked a meme fest on social media.

According to her Instagram bio, Neelam Gill is a British-Punjabi model, speaker at TED Talks, and activist. Her recent appearance at Cannes drew the attention of all paps. 

For the red carpet, she wore a custom-made outfit from the shelves of Tony Ward and teamed it with earrings from the collection of Flavia Vetorasso Sciarra. Gill also walked the ramp for DIOR in India in April 2023. 

She mentioned in her caption, “My first ever runway for Dior!! honoured is an understatement.. deeply grateful to have been a part of this moment in history, especially as a Punjabi girl. was truly magical & emotional to see our culture and heritage celebrated by a fashion house I’ve admired for so many years.”

Gill is a renowned model who has achieved significant milestones in her career. She started modelling at the age of 14 and rose to fame. About a decade ago, she became the first Indian-origin model to ever get featured in a Burberry campaign. In November 2015, she sealed the deal and became the face of Abercrombie & Fitch, an American lifestyle retailer brand. She has also walked for Kanye West’s fashion week.

In an interview with ELLE a couple of years ago, she shared her morning routine. She added that she is not a morning person. She performs a foot routine once a week where she applies foot balm to her feet and sleeps with socks on to ensure they remain hydrated.

She starts her day with a shower. She uses a foamy face wash to cleanse her face, and top it with another mild cleanser. The model proceeds to apply a retinol serum. She then applies a gel-based product and tops it with an oil-free primer. From there, she goes on to apply makeup, set her base with foundation and loose powder, apply concealer, add blush, bronzer, and highlighter to her cheeks, set her eyebrows, and finish it off with lipstick. You can try her minimal makeup routine for an effortlessly chic look.
