48-year-old South Korean actor Lee Sun Kyun was found dead on 27th December 2023 in the car. He got fame for his Oscar-winning film “Parasite”. While the actor was under investigation by the police for illegal drug use, police found him dead in the car parked in Jongno-gu, Seoul. Police found the signs of burnt Charcoal briquettes at the scene which police suspect a possible suicide attempt.
Drug Case Involving The Actor
The actor was suspected to be involved in using illegal drugs due to which he was asked to undergo a rapid drug test on Saturday. The National Forensic Service has conducted the test and the result was expected a month later. The actor did not make any comment related to the allegations and followed the investigative procedures. However, it was initially reported that he refused to answer any question related to the drug, but his legal representative denied this. Lee has submitted his phone and the sample and complied fully with the investigation.

There are five occasions when the use of drugs has been specified. However, there is a discrepancy over the fact that the actor knew he was taking drugs. The rapid test report of the actor (korean drama to watch in winters) was found negative but it doesn't necessarily mean that other tests will produce negative results. The police reached the scene after receiving an emergency call from a woman who said her husband left the house after writing a letter that seemed like a suicide message.

Born in 1975 Lee See Kyun is a popular South Korean (korean skincare routine) actor who won a Screen Guild award for his role in Academy Award-winning 2019 film Parasite. He played the role of the wealthy Park family. He has played lead roles in many South Korean movies which include ‘Helpless’, and ‘All About My Wife’.
