If you haven't been following Bigg Boss OTT religiously this season and wondering why the nation can't stop talking about one of its contestants, Elvish Yadav, you have landed on the right page. The OTT version of the controversial reality show Bigg Boss got an extension recently from the makers after two wild card entries Aashika Bhatia and Elvish Yadav made it to the season.
In a short span, Elvish Yadav has managed to become one of the most talked about contestants in Bigg Boss. The wild card contestant was recently bashed by host Salman Khan for his behaviour with co-contestants during Weekend Ka Vaar. Yadav addressed contestants Jiya Shankar and Bebika Dhurve using derogatory language and the same didn't go down well with the host Salman Khan.
Elvish's mother was also connected via video call which left the YouTuber emotional. He apologised to Khan and promised that he would be careful with his behaviour going forward.
Despite the thrashing coming his way, Yadav made it to Twitter trends. Soon 'Unbreakable Elvish Yadav' started trending on Twitter with over 1 million tweets in just six hours.
Also, there have been reports of Salman Khan getting death threats after the episode. One among the many Evish's fans who were upset with Khan lashing out at the contestant was reportedly gangster Goldy Brar whose tweet went viral on the internet. In the non-verified tweet, Brar cites that he will be taking revenge for Yadav's bashing by Khan. Reportedly, after the threat, Salman Khan's security has been tightened.

He has another YT channel titled 'Elvish Yadav Vlogs' that has over 4 million subscribers too. Yadav is also active on Instagram and enjoys a fan following of 11 million users.

After completing his schooling at Amit Internationa School, Gurugram, he did his graduation from Hansraj College to get a degree in Commerce. Post college, Elvish Yadav started prepping for a government job since he always dreamt of it. However, soon he got inclined toward YouTube and videos. His friends encouraged him to make a comedy video and post it on social media. The video instantly went viral and he officially started his YouTube channel in 2016. Elvish hasn't looked back ever since then. He used his income from his YouTube channels to start his brands 'Systumm Clothing' and 'Elgrow'.

Bigg Boss OTT season 2 began in June and is expected to conclude on August 13. The show also stars Pooja Bhatt, Manisha Rani, Avinash Sachdev, Jiya Shankar, and Jad Hadid, among others. Recently, wild card contestant Aashika Bhatia got evicted from the show. In the last episode, family members of the contestants made it to the Bigg Boss house.
