BTS V Layover: BTS V, also known as Kim Tae hyung, released his debut solo album ‘Layover’ on September 8, 2023, with six songs including ‘Rainy Days’, ‘Blue’, ‘Love Me Again’, ‘Slow Dancing’, ‘For Us’, and a piano version of ‘Slow Dancing’. BTS V has been very busy with the promotions of his album ‘Layover’. It marks his solo debut for which fans waited a lot. Moreover, he has surprised his BTS army by sending them handwritten notes along with a hard copy of the album ‘Layover’. BTS V On ‘Suchwita’

In the recent episode of ‘Suchwita’ fans saw BTS Suga inviting his fellow teammate BTS V after the successful release of his album ‘Layover’ with six songs. During the episode, the global sensational revealed:

i) His Most Difficult Phase In 2018

Kim Tae hyung talked openly about his depressing time in 2018 when he was surrounded by negative ideas. He said that because of BTS' hectic schedule, he had considered harming himself to get some rest. He said, “I have never said this before. It’s my first time telling this to fans through Suchwita because people don’t know why we were having such a hard time or why we were struggling so much. There’s no one who can understand.”

To this BTS member Suga said, “At that time, everyone was so exhausted. Of course, we did our best but there were moments when we felt burned out. When these moments hit Taehyung we talked a lot about how burned out we were.”

Further, the singer said, “I was totally drained. I was so exhausted. I thought so much about taking one day off. I was so tired I wanted one day when I could do nothing. In 2018 after we shot the MV for Fake Love I was so exhausted that I asked something like ‘Since tomorrow we only have dance practice, would it be okay if we took a day off?’ But we were preparing for our comeback and it was an important dance practice, so we couldn’t rest. I even thought I should get hurt. If I get hurt, would I be able to rest? So, I thought I should get hurt. But now I want to change that me of the past," he shared on the talk show 'Suchwita' with Suga

ii) His Wish To See Northern Lights

BTS V said that he had never seen the Northern lights when Suga questioned what type of dream he (Kim Tae hyung) has now. In response to this Suga said that BTS members had planned to go and see this but they could not. He said, "I have never seen the Auroras before. I wish all the seven members would go to see the Northern Lights together. Have drinks there and just have a nice conversation.”

iii) His Views On BTS' Chapter 2

After the anthology ‘Proof’ was released in 2022, BTS members announced that the new era is Chapter 2. Members of BTS V, Jungkook, and Jimin were spotted shirtless, which was unusual for the BTS army. Besides that, Jin, V, and RM have displayed their bare backs on camera. Many fans believed that this was the peak of BTS' shirtless phase. The singer, however, jokingly clarified that chapter 2 doesn't involve them getting shirtless.

BTS V On ‘IU’s Palette’

When it was revealed that V will appear in the upcoming episode of IU's popular show IU Palette, his fans were filled with enthusiasm and excitement. Recently IU posted a clip of her singing V’s new song, 'Love Me Again' on her Instagram handle which has got more than 2,000,000 likes till now. The song is lovely in and of itself, but IU put her flair to it with her soulful voice. The performance most likely happened at the IU-hosted show called IU's Palette, where V had gone to promote his solo album.

BTS V On Reality Show ‘Running Man’

BTS V also made an appearance on the famous reality show ‘Running Man’ to promote his album ‘Layover’. He performed a variety of games with the other cast members and had a great time. The popular variety show's much-awaited episode with BTS V as a guest broadcast on September 10, 2023. According to a report by Koreaboo, it states that "The episode of the SBS variety show Running Man that aired on September 10 achieved a nationwide household rating of 4.0% and a target audience rating of 2.3% for viewers aged 20-49, making it the top entertainment show in its time slot."

BTS V Singing At ‘Naver NPop’

One of his first live performances following the album's release, BTS's V took the stage on Naver's new music show NPOP to sing ‘Slow Dancing’, ‘Rainy Days’, and ‘Love Me Again’. The singer worked with Ador CEO and NewJeans' creative director Min Hee-jin on the music, creative direction, and production of the music video for his album ‘Layover’. In addition to that fans went crazy when BTS V and NewJeans teamed together for a TikTok dance challenge on their song ‘Hype Boy’ in August 2022.
