Known by his stage name V, Kim Taehyung is one of the most loved members of the South Korean boy band group, BTS. A singer, actor, performer, and songwriter, V dons many hats. Kim Taehyung's Early Years And Education

Kim Taehyung was born in Seo District, Daegu on December 30, 1995. He is the eldest of three and has two siblings, a younger brother and a sister. V always dreamt of becoming a singer, ever since his school days. He started taking saxophone lessons while in school. Soon after school, he started working with Big Hit Entertainment, a music agency.

In the year 2014, he graduated from Korean Arts High School. In 2020, he enrolled himself in Global Cyber University for majors in Broadcasting and Entertainment. In 2021, he enrolled himself at Hanyang Cyber University where he studied Master of Business Administration in Advertising and Media.

V made his acting debut in the year 2016 with Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth. He played the supporting character in the Park Seo-joon, Go A-ra led film. He later made many appearances in series like In the Soop: Friendcation and Jinny's Kitchen.

Earlier this year, V was linked with Blackpink's Jennie when pictures of V being with someone who resembled Jennie surfaced online. However, none of the two commented on the linkup rumours. In an interview once, Taehyung spoke about his relationships. He said, "I’ve have never been in a serious relationship. Actually, I couldn’t refuse a confession. I think that’s the reason why I have never been in a relationship for more than 20 days."

Kim Taehyung's Endorsement Deals

Kim Taehyung was announced as the global brand ambassador for Cartier in July for the Panthère de campaign. Arnaud Carrez, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Cartier explaining why the brand chose V as the brand ambassador, in an interview said, "When it came to embodying the magnetism and aura of the panther, our choice naturally fell on V. He has the look and strength of character, a personality whose choices are guided by creativity as a dancer, musician, or art lover, with a style and elegance that belong only to him."

Taehyung is also Celine's brand ambassador and attended Celine's fashion show in Paris and the brand's dinner at Cannes 2023 on a special invitation by the artistic director of Celine, Hedi Slimane. V is also the brand ambassador for SimInvest, an Indonesian investment company.

If reports are to be believed, all BTS members will complete their military enlistment this year. Even though South Korea's parliament made an exception for BTS and passed a law for them to postpone their military service, Jimin, V, and Jungkook decided to prioritise their enlisting to reunite with their fans sooner.
