Alanna Panday's Wedding: SRK-Gauri React To Ahaan's 'I Am The Best'; Ananya Recreates This Song

Alanna Panday got married to her longtime beau Ivor McCray on Thursday, March 16. The wedding and reception were star-studded events where some renowned names, including Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, made an appearance.

Alanna’s wedding created a huge social media buzz. It was a traditional wedding before which she and her cousin had a bridal brunch. The bride and groom got married in white outfits. Alanna wore a heavily embroidered chikankari lehenga, while Ivor was in a white bandhgala sherwani.

For the reception, Alanna changed into a golden outfit. It was a thigh-high slit-cut skirt paired with an embellished bralette top.

One of the videos from the reception that is going viral is of Ahaan Panday and Karan Mehta. They performed on ‘I am the best’, a song from Shah Rukh Khan’s movie. Both Panday and Mehta were twinning in black trousers, a white shirt, black shoes and black sunglasses.

In the video, one can spot Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan enjoying the performance. They were also spotted clapping for the duo who put the stage on fire.

Ananya Panday & Chunky Panday Dance To ‘Saat Samandar’

Ananya Panday initially started dancing on Saat Samandar with Ahaan Panday. However, Chunky Panday joined them in between and shook legs with his daughter. Later, Bhavana Pandey came to the floor to dance with the father-daughter duo.

Their killer moves entertained the audience thoroughly. All were shooting the performance on their phones and clapping.

Groom’s Performance

Another video went viral from the wedding in which the groom and his family surprised the bride’s family with their performance on the Oscar-winning song Naatu Naatu. It was amazing to see the groomsmen breaking their legs on the song.

Wedding Rituals

The couple had a big fat Indian wedding. The bridal brunch was followed by a haldi ceremony, sangeet and a traditional Hindu wedding. A story shared by Ananya showed that the couple was smiling while looking at each other during pheras.

The theme of the wedding was white and pastel. The decoration was done in white flowers, and most of the guests wore outfits in pastel hues.

Alanna Panday is the daughter of Chunky’s brother Chikki Panday and his wife Deanne Panday. She got engaged to Ivor in 2021 when he proposed to her on a beach at an exotic location.

Ananya Panday was spotted wearing a blue saree with a white blouse. It had an embroidered border. The blouse featured a plunging neckline and a deep back.
