HZ Tried & Tested: Vedix Customised Khoob Hair Growth Hair Care Regime Combo Detailed Review

Hair fall is something many of us face and it could be due to several reasons. Unhealthy eating habits, stress, pollution, dandruff, the season, hereditory, reaction to a medicine... anything. Mine is stress and I blame it for reducing my hair volume to half. I have typical Bengali hair which used to really thick and wavy but life is a rollercoaster you have to ride and this ride sure took a toll on my much loved tresses I was so proud of. On the journey to trying out different products, I finally came across this interesting subscription box for your hair care whcich I have not stumbled upon before. Skincare and kids fun I know has many options but hair care not really hence the curiosity. So I bought a month's box which came with three products and here is my detailed review of the same which comes after 4 uses.

Claims

Now, this is not like your everyday hair oils. This is a customised box of goodness that actually stops hair fall. VEDIX is a customised hair care regimen subscription box. It adheres to Tridosha Theory according to which our bodies are regulated by 3 doshas, i.e. Vata (Air and Ether energies), Pita (Fire energy), and Kapha (Water and Earth energies). You face hair and skin problems when a combination of these doshas are elevated and suppressed. You take a Dosha questionnaire to know which dosha of your's is elevated and then they accordingly recommend products. They then deliver the products to your address like I have a major issue with hair fall thanks to stress, as per your subscription plan period.

Key Ingredients

Khoob Anti Hairfall Oil: This oil contains Ashwagandha, Vata, Tulasi, Grapeseed Essential Oil, and Carrot Seed Essential Oil.

Khoob Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo: It contains Aloe vera, Yasthimadhu, Gunja, Bhringraj, and Quinoa Protein.

Khoob Hair Regrowth Serum: It contains Kumari, Grape Seed Essential Oil, Cedar Essential Oil, Bakuchi, Bhringraj, Japa, and Gunja.

Packaging

The packaging of these products is pretty. I love the cardboard box which comes with a magnetic pull, the jute bag in which the oil, serum and shampoo bottle is placed. The caps are sturdy and surprisingly, the dropper works perfectly fine as I have had some really bad experiences before with some other brand bottles that come with a dropper.

Price

It is a subscription so Buy1 - Month Supply for Rs 1699, 3 Month supply for Rs 1499 and 6 Month supply for Rs 999.

My Experience

Like I mentioned before, I have used this regime four times. I sure did notice an interesting change. The first wash made my hair dry, the second brought it back to normal, the third made it smoother with fewer strands in my hand as I brush my hair using my fingertips and not a comb as I have wavy and thick (thicker than normal) hair which is super frizzy in Winter. The fourth wash made my hair way smoother and sorted defined waves and way lesser hair fall.

Now this is for a fact that all organic and natural product users need to understand and should know and i.e., everything takes some time to show its effect. Nothing is instant when it comes to skincare and haircare.

Khoob Anti Hairfall Oil: This has a strong herbal fragrance but feels truly light. I have been applying it bi-weekly and keep it just for an hour as per the instructions.

Khoob Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo: This has a fresh smell but you need 4 coin size spurts for wavy and long hair like mine and also to get rid of the oil.

Khoob Hair Regrowth Serum: This serum has Keshya Dravyas which has nourishing properties best for hair growth. It is a leave-in serum that your scalp absorbs quickly and is water-based with a subtle floral fragrance that lingers for a bit without giving a headache ( I am allergic to some fragrances namely lavender so when I talk about fragrances, I mean it).

Strong fragrance but goes away after a bit.

Verdict

Once I am done with these bottles, since the result is good, I will take a 6-month subscription not just for me but for my mother as well. It makes for a good gift for someone who is very touchy about his or her hair (like me).
