DIY: Easy Shampoo Recipes You Can Make At Home For Luxurious Hair

Our hair faces enough with daily pollution and heat, why to torture them more by using chemicals? Replace those sulphate and parabens infused shampoos with something natural and homemade. Here are a few very easy to make shampoo recipes, whose ingredients you can find online or at your home.    

Aloe Vera Shampoo

Ingredients:

• 1/4 cup distilled water
• 1/4 cup liquid castile soap 
• 1/4 cup aloe vera gel
• 1 teaspoon glycerin
• 1/4 teaspoon avocado oil or jojoba oil
• Flip Cap Bottles or Foaming Bottles to dispense 

Method:

• This shampoo is best for dry hair wherein all you have to do is mix together all the ingredients.
• Store in a bottle and always shake well before using.

Ingredients:

• 1/4 cup liquid castile soap 
• 1/2 tsp jojoba, grapeseed, or other light vegetable oil
• 1/4 cup distilled water
• Flip cap bottles or foaming bottles to dispense 

Method:

• Mix together all the ingredients and store in a bottle. Shake before use.
• This is not a thick mixture like the ones you see in shampoos from the market.  

Soothe Shampoo Recipe

Ingredients:

• 1 cup distilled water
• 1 cup castille soap- try Lavender!
• 6 chamomile tea bags
• 1 1/2 tbsp glycerin
• Bottle for dispensing

Method:

• Steep the teabags in boiled water for 20 minutes.
• Remove the tea bags and discard.

• Stir in glycerin until well blended.
• Keep in a dark, cool place in a sealed bottle

   

Dandruff Shampoo Recipe

Ingredients:

• 1/4 cup distilled water
• 1/4 cup liquid castile soap

Method:

Shine Shampoo Recipe

Ingredients:

• 1/4 cup distilled water
• 1/4 cup liquid castile soap - try Lemon!
• 2 tbsp dried rosemary

• 1/4 tsp lemon essential oil
• Foaming bottle to dispense 

Method:

• Boil the water and add rosemary.
• Steep until fragrant.
• Strain leaves and let cool.
• Mix all ingredients and add to water and stir well.
• Store in a bottle. Use as you would any shampoo, rinse well.
