Grey eyebrows are an issue when ageing sets in and there is nothing wrong with it! But if you still want to colour them then there are ways to do it even using natural ingredients and they are all available to us even during this self-isolation period or the quarantine. So without wasting time let's jump into the solutions.
Coffee
Coffee is said to have hair colouring properties. Many use it in the mixture of henna when colouring grey hair. So you can use this for your eyebrows as well.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of water
- Coffee powder
Method
Mix two teaspoons of coffee in two tablespoons of cold water.
Now boil water and add that coffee solution. Mix well and let it cool.
Use the mixture to rinse your eyebrows.
Leave it on for 30 minutes and rinse it off with plain water.
You can also add a tiny amount of henna powder to the mixture which will enhance the colour of the eyebrows. But make sure that you keep very little as we don't want unrealistic colouring.
Do this every alternate day.
Amla
If premature greying is an issue for you then amla is your best bet. It is said to help in darkening hair naturally.
Ingredients
- 5 amlas
- A glass of water
Method
Cut the amlas into small pieces and them in water which should be a glassful.
Cool the mixture and store it.
Use the solution as a final rinse after washing your hair and for your eyebrows, keep a little extra and use this everyday.
You can also drink amla juice for additional benefits.
Do this 1-2 times a week.

A lot number of people have grey hair due to deficiency of vitamins B12, H, and D3. If you can restore them then that might stop further greying and work on the already grey hair, basically reverse the grey.
Have foods rich in vitamins like chicken, fish, eggs, cheese, and almonds every day and you can also take supplements but consult the doctor before you do.
Natural Dyes
Natural dyes are also said to help in covering grey eyebrows. You can take foods which have natural colours like beetroot, sage, and saffron
What you have to do is extract the juices from the foods and then rinse your brows with the juice and use this once a day. Remember that these foods have orange, and red colours so be careful. Sage might help to achieve browning but you can always mix the remedies. Like a bit of coffee and beetroot might work.
Other ways of dealing with grey eyebrows are:
Plucking: Pluck out the hair that is grey but don't do it if all the hair is grey. This is good when you have one or two.
Eyebrow Pencil Or Palette: These are very much available in the market in so many shades.
Temporary Dyes: So many temporary dyes are available on the market which are effective.
Mascara: In the absence of an eyebrow pencil or palette, using a mascara would help in covering grey eyebrows.
