5 Best Historical Romance Books To Read From Famous Bridgerton Author Julia Quinn

This historical romance book by the Bridgerton author is a page turner of sorts. It is the story of scandal, gossip, a strong female character named Olivia Bevelstroke and two suitors who are polar opposites when it comes to their purpose and circumstances. What Happens In London is a charming old England novel and may be a delightful read for Bridgerton lovers to dive in and read. For romance novels readers Julia Quinn has some of the most heartwarming stories to offer and this particular book is definitely one amongst them. 

The story of Honoria Smythe-Smith is not only interesting but also quite an engaging plot, a little different than all other books when it comes to characters and overall plot. Hugh Prentice, a mathematician does not like women that are active and social, jovial and dramatic, while Lady Sarah Pleinsworth is just the opposite of what Hugh likes in a woman. Circumstances force them to spend some time together and what follows is an unexpected revelation of each other’s true sides which makes them fall in love with each other. Gareth St. Clair finds Hyacinth to be “probably best in small doses” and while the ton is very sure of her charm and beauty with an unmissable feisty nature which makes her stand out from the rest. This story of love is romantic, interesting and would keep readers on the edge to find out more about the young Brigerton’s love story. It is easy to read, though a later part in the Bridgerton series, it still can be picked alone to get familiar with Julia Quinn’s writing.
