The fans of Netflix’s fantasy hit ‘Wednesday’ can finally rejoice as the horror comedy show is reprising for its second season. The Jenna Ortega starrer was a smashing hit in 2022 with season 1, seamlessly blending humour, horror, and suspense. Directed by Tim Burton, Jenna will be reprising her titular character Wednesday Addams, who returns to Nevermore Academy with wit and tenacity. The latest teaser drop hints at what viewers expect from the second season.

The first look teaser of Wednesday season 2 dropped by Netflix on Thursday shows Addams against her nemesis Tyler Galpin (Hunter Doohan) at Willowhill Psychiatric Hospital. In the intense reunion scene, the villainous Hyde is shown with both hands chained, exhausted, looking up at Addams who looks at him with an intense look on her face.
Sharing the teaser on Instagram, Netflix wrote “Woe actually ek announcement tha. Wednesday Season 2 is coming soon.”
Returning members of the show include Joy Sunday (Bianca), Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia), Emma Myers (Enid), Moosa Mostafa (Eugene), Luis Guzmán (Gomez), Georgie Farmer (Ajax) and Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley).
“This season, Wednesday’s journey is darker and more complex as she navigates family, friends, new mysteries, and old adversaries, propelling her headlong into another year at Nevermore,” showrunners and executive producers Al Gough and Miles Millar stated in a statement.
