Uppu Kappurambu Plot
Based in the distant village of Chitti Jayapuram during the 1990s, Uppu Kappurambu follows the life of Aparna, a new politician who becomes the village head by chance. Chinna, a lowly gravedigger suffering from cancer, shares his house with his terminally i mother, who harbours a poignant last desire. During a loud panchayat session, Chinna raises a strangely pressing issue: there are just four graves left in the village cemetery. The fear breaks out as villagers rush to stake a claim for themselves. As tensions are running high, the plot runs with Aparna trying to deal with this ridiculous crisis.
