Sweet Dreams Trailer: Mithila Palkar-Amol Parashar Stuck in 'Dream' Loop
The trailer for Sweet Dreams starts with a few dreamy, romantic sequences of Kenny (Parashar) and Dia (Palkar), after which we learn that both dream of each other every night. However, the catch is that they do not know one another in real life.
Both tell their respective friends how their dreams end exactly at that same point every night. While Dia's friend jokes that she likes attention and the guy in the dreams is giving her that, Kenny's friend asks him to "get some action," clearly implying that no one understands this weird happening.
Pushed by this cosmic connection, both decide and tell their folks that they should focus all their time and energy searching for one another. A time comes when they do cross paths but miss each other by a whisker.

And, then reality strikes when they get questioned by their friends as to if the decision to find each other and possibly start dating is at all an intelligent and well-thought one. This plants the seed of doubt in Kenny and Dia and on this note, the trailer ends.

Disney+ Hotstar, while sharing the trailer for Sweet Dreams, captioned it as: Accepting the reality or chasing their dream, what will Kenny & Dia choose?
So, it surely needs to be seen if Kenny's "dream girl" is indeed the woman he has been looking for and the same goes for Dia when it comes to that man of her dreams. Sweets Dreams, which has Victor Mukherjee at the helm, has been inspired by In My Dreams.
In the TV film, the actors get united in the end, so the ending is pretty predictable. But, what might make it unique is the treatment of the plot and its execution.
Apart from Amol Parashar and Mithila Palkar, the upcoming film also has Meiyang Chang, Mohini Shimpi, and Sauraseni Maitra as pivotal characters.
