
The highly anticipated Indian web series ‘Panchayat’ is now officially set to return for the fifth season, and the audience is already buzzing in excitement for the next batch of intoxicating moments from the rural setup, politics, friendships, and some inner monologues. The driving factor for ‘Panchayat’ Season 5 is their unmatched cast, including the thoughtful Sachiv Ji, played by Jitendra Kumar and Manju Devi, portrayed by the energetic Neena Gupta, to the sage Pradhan Ji, portrayed by the brilliant Raghubir Yadav and the endearing villagers and guest stars.
OTT giant Amazon Prime Video made the big reveal through its official social media handle. The new poster hinted at another exciting ride back to the village. According to IMDb, the movie’s gist reads, “A comedy-drama, which captures the journey of an engineering graduate Abhishek, who, for lack of a better job option, joins as secretary of a Panchayat office in a remote village of Uttar Pradesh.”
Panchayat Season 5, confirmed by Amazon Prime Video for a 2026 release, features the return of the beloved ensemble cast that has defined the series.
