The upcoming Chinese film Copycat Killer is an adaptation of the popular crime mystery novel of the same name by Japanese author Miyuki Miyabe which relates the tale of Taiwan's first-ever serial murder case and is set in the 1990s in Taipei. The media-savvy serial murderer exploits the considerable interest to turn the investigation into a national spectacle, igniting rumours and infamy. Award-winning actor Wu Kang-ren portrays a no-nonsense prosecutor who makes a promise to crack the case only to discover that nothing is as it seems. While he attempts to destabilise society's peace and order, the murderer continues to make a mockery of the law and the legal system.

United Kacche (Zee5- March 31)

Starring Sunil Grover in the lead, the comedy drama web series United Kachhe revolves around Tango, an undocumented Indian immigrant who talks about his struggles to make ends meet while dreaming of a better life in England. Although he struggles with money, language problems, and cultural differences, his positive outlook and fortitude enable him to find odd jobs and establish new acquaintances, including a compassionate woman. Tango also has to cope with the ethical conundrum of accepting assistance from those who might not have his best interests at heart and persistent deportation threats.
