God forbid the woman who crosses paths with Joe Goldberg. In season 1 of Netflix’s psychological thriller ‘You’, we were initially charmed by the nerdy bookstore manager, only to see how dangerous he could be for the women he claims to love. But let's be honest, some of them were too weak for the plot. On the other hand, a few of Joe's love interests emerged as some of the strongest women the show needed, like Love Quinn, whose death we still grieve.
A Ranking Of Joe Goldberg’s Love Interests, Strongest To Weakest
From Candace Stone to Kate Lockwood, here’s the ranking of Joe Goldberg’s lovers from strongest to weakest:
Love Quinn (Season 2,3)
Love Quinn from You season 2 didn’t deserve to die, period! Besides her being a psychopathic killer, she was the only one on the show who could have won and outsmart Joe. We watched her in awe during season 2 and season 3 as she gave Joe the taste of his own medicine. She slayed until her last breath!
Candace Stone (Season 2)
Bringing Candace back from the dead in season 2 was a good twist. She was Joe's previous love interest whom he had buried alive, thinking he killed her only to see her breathing again. Candace manipulated Forty Quinn to get closer to Joe and played some grand schemes to get her sweet revenge. Candace slays the game until she is murdered by Quinn in cold blood.
Kate Lockwood (Season 4)
Kate Lockwood’s character in season 4 of You might appear to be bland to some viewers but in reality, she is actually vile, cold twisted, and despicable, quite a good match for Joe. She knows how to use power to her privilege, whether it is taking over her father's business, or covering up crimes that either she, her father, or her serial killer partner committed.
Delilah (Season 2)
Serious nature, quick with comebacks, and does her best to take care of her teenage sister, Delilah was a pretty good character. She and Joe had a brief sexual relationship. For a clever character like her, not being able to read Joe’s personality quickly enough was a bit indigestible. In the end, she was too, like other women put in a glass cage followed by Quinn’s kill, driven by her jealousy.

Guinevere Beck (Season 1)
There are blind women in love, then there is Guinevere Beck from season 1 of You. Even after being warned by most of her friends against Joe and having all the possible red flagsparaded in front of her all along, she drove herself to death. Evidently, one of the weakest characters of the show.
