The film follows Surya (Nani), an ordinary insurance agent who leads a mundane life from Monday to Friday. However, on Saturdays, he transforms into a vigilante, channelling his frustration to fight against injustice. This dual life leads him to cross paths with Police Officer Dayanand (SJ Suryah), known for his oppressive tactics in the town of Sokulapalem.
Adding a romantic twist, Surya becomes involved with Charulatha (Priyanka Arul Mohanan), a newly appointed cop who complicates his life further. The film blends traditional mass masala action with romance, delivering an engaging cinematic experience that runs for 2 hours and 46 minutes.

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is slated to premiere on Netflix on September 26, 2024. Although this date has been widely reported, official confirmation from the streaming platform is still awaited. Netflix reportedly acquired the digital rights for a substantial ₹45 crore, indicating the film's potential for significant viewership.

Since its theatrical release on August 29, 2024, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram has grossed approximately ₹93.64 crore worldwide against a production budget of ₹90 crore. Despite strong performances in international markets, the film has yet to cross the ₹100 crore mark domestically. As of its 18th day in theatres, the India net collection stood at ₹58.60 crore.
