Manamey OTT Release: After six months of theatrical release, Telugu rom-com starring Krithi Shetty and Sharwanand in the lead is all set to release on OTT. Manamey is a comeback film for actor Sharwanand, however, it ended up being an average performer at the box office. According to an Amazon Prime Instagram announcement, the Telugu rom-com starring Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty in lead roles will be streaming from March 7, 2025, on Amazon Prime Video.

The film was initially set to release in the second week of July 2024, however, due to financial issues between the makers and the platform, the release was delayed for seven months.No major Telugu movie in recent times has had such a long wait for its OTT release.
About Manamey
Directed by Sriram Adittya, the movie features Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles. It would not be wrong to say that Sharwanand was presented most entertainingly and his performance is one of the biggest highlights of the film, earning him praise from the audience. The movie is shot entirely in London, boasting stunning visuals and soulful music. However, despite its rich production, stunning visuals, and incredible performances of the actors, the movie could not perform well at the box office. Produced by T.G. Vishwa Prasad under People Media Factory, Manamey is a big-budget film but failed at the box office. Now, when it is all set to release on the OTT platform, it would be interesting to see how well it performs in the digital space.

Manamey Storyline
The film is based on the story of a young man played by Sharwanand, who is forced to take care of his friend’s son along with Krithi Shetty. The heartfelt performance and soulful music by Hesham Abdul Wahab added an appeal to the film. Additionally, Manamey is going to face tough competition from Thandel, Naga Chaitanya’s blockbuster which is streaming on Netflix.
