Malayalam OTT Releases This Week (April 28 to May 4, 2025)

ED (Extra Decent) OTT

Suraj Venjaramoodu’s psychological dark comedy ED (short for Extra Decent) has made its way to OTT after a successful theatrical run. Released in cinemas on December 20, 2024, the film was praised for Suraj’s standout performance.

Now streaming on Amazon Prime Video and Manorama Max, ED explores themes of identity and perception in a darkly humorous setting.

Bromance OTT

For fans of light-hearted adventure and comedy, Bromance brings a youthful, energetic story. The film follows a young man who, with the help of his brother’s friends, sets off on a journey of self-discovery filled with twists and surprises.

Featuring a dynamic cast including Mahima Nambiar, Mathew Thomas, Arjun Ashokan, and Bharat Bopanna, the film was originally released in theatres on February 14, 2025. The official digital premiere is set for Thursday, May 1, on SonyLiv.

Maranamass and Hunt OTT

While not yet released, two major titles are expected to debut on streaming platforms by mid-May. Maranamass, featuring Rajesh Madhavan, Suresh Krishna, Siju Sunny, and Anishma Anilkumar, is expected to land on OTT in May mid week.

Similarly, Hunt, a gripping investigative thriller directed by Shaji Kailas and starring Bhavana and Ajmal Ameer, is also expected to drop on OTT soon. The filmmakers have yet to make an official statement about the movie's release on an OTT platform.
