‘Normal People’ is an extraordinary take on the lives of two ordinary people just living their lives and falling in and out of love. In 2018, Sally Rooney won our hearts with her novel of the same title that was nominated for the Booker Prize. Soon, the series adaptation was also announced, and released during the unfortunate pandemic era, on April 26, 2020.

Choosing Yourself Over Others
The last episode of ‘Normal People’ highlights the importance of choosing your individual path despite a romantic association. After Connel gets accepted for a writing programme in New York, Marianne asks him to follow his dreams alone despite him being deeply dependent on her.
