If you are a K-drama fan then watching Korean dramas with your favourite snack or a steamy bowl of ramen on a rainy day is a perfect combination. Here are a few K-dramas we love to watch when it's raining and you're stuck inside. The following Korean dramas can make you smile as they feature rain as a protagonist, and some notable rainy backdrops:

1. 'Goblin'

‘Goblin’ is undoubtedly one of the best dramas of all time for all the good reasons, be it the plot, characters, or their magical scenes. Fans who were in love with Gong Yoo and Kim Go eun, who played the goblin's destined wife, met on a rainy day in front of a stonefall street (with the iconic slow-motion sequence) without realising the important part they would later play in each other's life.

2. 'The Legend of the Blue Sea'

Another fan-favourite Korean drama in which rain played an important role is 'The Legend of the Blue Sea' which was released in 2016. The drama cast Lee Min-ho and Jun Ji-hyun in the main roles. There is a scene where Jun Ji-hyun is eagerly waiting for Lee Min-ho when a heavy downpour stranded her. The male lead finds her in an awful state, he then covers her with his umbrella and offers his hand to help her get up.

3. 'Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha'

In a beautiful scene under the rain, Kim Seon-ho as Hong Du-sik gives us an important reminder when met with unexpected situations. There is a scene when it starts raining and Hye-jin played by Shin Min-ah is annoyed at getting drenched, but Du-sik reminds her to let her hair down and enjoy. He says, “You’re bound to meet unexpected situations in life. Even if you use an umbrella, you’ll end up getting drenched. Just put your hands up and welcome the rain.” (Umbrellas Can Be Your Perfect Monsoon Accessory)
