Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16 Date & Time
After fifteen years of consecutive success, the popular hit Indian quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati is back with its sixteenth season. The show will air with its all-time favourite host, Amitabh Bachchan. Sony Liv’s official Instagram account released the promo for Kaun Bange Crorepati season 16, and the caption of the video reads, “Amitabh Bachchan lekar aa rahe hain ek aur shandaar season! Ab shuru hota hai Kaun Banega Crorepati ka naya adhyay. Dekhiye 12th August se, Monday to Friday, raat 9 baje Sony LIV par.”

The sixteenth season of the show has started to air exclusively on Sony TV as of August 12, 2024. The approximately one-hour-long episodes of KBC 16 will air every day from Monday to Friday at 9 p.m.
Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16: Registration Process
The registration process for season 16 of Kaun Banega Crorepati began in April 2024. Although the registration process is currently closed, if you're interested in participating, keep an eye on Sony TV, as they periodically reopen the process while the show is on.

The format of the show remains the same as in previous seasons, but the newest addition this season is 'Super Sawaal.' This is a twist that gives contestants the opportunity to use a 'dugaanastra' between questions 6 to 10, which acts as a bonus question. Contestants cannot use any lifelines for this bonus question, but if they answer it correctly, they can double the amount of money.
