According to several media reports, the makers have already begun working on the ‘Criminal Justice’ Season 5 script. Sources indicate that the new mystery involving Madhav Mishra will be completed within two to three months.
Filming for Season 5 is expected to begin in September 2025 and continue through October. If all goes according to schedule, the fifth season will likely premiere by July 2026.

‘Criminal Justice’ Season 4 delivered a gripping storyline centered on the murder of nurse Roshni Saluja, portrayed by Asha Negi. The case involved Dr Raj Nagpal (Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub), his estranged wife Anju Nagpal (Surveen Chawla), and their daughter Ira (Khushi Bharadwaj), who suffers from Asperger's syndrome.
The plot unraveled when Roshni, who cared for Ira, developed feelings for Dr Raj. Their relationship grew complicated as Roshni became jealous of Anju. She felt frustrated that Raj refused to publicly acknowledge their relationship or divorce his wife. This jealousy drove Roshni to attempt poisoning Raj and Anju's daughter.
Initially, authorities arrested Anju for the murder. However, Madhav Mishra's investigation revealed the shocking truth, Dr Raj Nagpal had killed his lover Roshni.
