‘Sword of the Demon Hunter’
Set to debut on June 27, 2024, 'Sword of the Demon Hunter' is finally being adapted into an anime. This adaptation of the well-loved light novel and manga series was initially announced in 2021, and the wait is nearly over. The series follows Jinta, a guardian tasked with protecting a priestess in an isolated mountain village. Despite being an outsider, he must hunt and defeat a demon lurking in the forest.
Directed by Kazuya Aiura, known for his work on 'Assassins Pride' and 'Hori-san to Miyamura-kun (OAV),' the anime is being produced by Yokohama Animation Lab. Deko Akao is overseeing the scripts for the series. Upon its release, you can catch 'Sword of the Demon Hunter' on Crunchyroll.
'A Few Moments of Cheers’
An original anime film titled 'A Few Moments of Cheers' is scheduled to hit theatres on June 14, 2024, offering audiences across the country a distinctive art style and narrative. According to Anime News Network, the film's story kicks off when a high school student who creates music videos encounters a teacher who has abandoned music. Asaya Kanata, an amateur music video creator, spots Yu Orie, a teacher and musician, performing on the street and decides to produce a music video featuring her music.
‘Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture’
‘Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture’ is gearing up for the release of its second instalment, Part 2, as part of its four-part movie series. The first segment premiered in May, and the second is set to debut in June. The third part will follow in July, with the fourth concluding the series in August.

Set in the universe created by Goro Taniguchi and Ichiro Okouchi, ‘Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture’ revolves around two brothers from Hokkaido during the seventh year of the Kowa era. The older brother, Ash, is known for his remarkable athletic abilities and Knightmare piloting skills, while the younger sibling, Rozé, excels in intelligence gathering and leadership. Together, they embark on a mission to rescue Empress Sakuya from the Neo Britannian Empire.
The second part of the anime (Anime for beginners) will be released on June 21, 2024, and can be watched on Crunchyroll.
‘Look Back’
Adapted from Tatsuki Fujimoto’s one-shot manga, 'Look Back' is slated for a June release. Directed by Kiyotaka Oshiyama of 'Flip Flappers' fame, the film will be produced by Studio Durian. Oshiyama takes on multiple roles, not only directing but also handling scriptwriting and character designs. The anime movie centres on Fujino, a fourth-grade student who contributes manga strips to the school newspaper. Despite being recognised as the class's top artist, Fujino encounters a new challenge when Kyomoto, a student who seldom attends school, expresses a desire to submit a manga as well. Scheduled for release on June 28, 2024, 'Look Back' will hit theatres.
