Aadujeevitham Plot
Based on tragically true events, ‘Aadujeevitham’ is the story of an Indian Malyali immigrant Najeeb Muhammed. He achieves his goal of working in Saudi Arabia to earn big bucks and send to his family in India. However, a series of mishaps leaves him trapped in an endless Middle Eastern desert and slavery herding sheep.
Inspired by the 2008 Malayalam novel (Self-Help Books) ‘Aadujeevitham’ by Benyamin, the movie sheds light on the exploitation of labourers and the challenges faced by immigrant workers. The real Najeeb Muhammed was abducted in the 1990s and after a great ordeal, escaped the loop two years later.
