Manu Bhaker
Manu Bhaker made history as the first Indian woman to secure a medal in shooting at the Olympic Games. The 22-year-old won a bronze in the women’s 10m Air Pistol final. In a remarkable achievement, Bhaker added another bronze to India's tally at the Paris Olympics alongside Sarabjot Singh, with the duo clinching bronze in the 10m mixed team air pistol event on Tuesday, July 30, 2024.

Nada Hafez
Egyptian fencer Nada Hafez proved that one does not have to skip a beat in Olympic fencing even while pregnant. At 26, Hafez announced she was seven months pregnant a day after she moved into the round of 16 in the women's saber event during the Paris Olympics. She shared on her Instagram account, "What may seem like two competitors on the podium turned out to be three: me, my opponent, and my soon-to-arrive little one!"

Cassandre Beaugrand
Cassandre Beaugrand, a 27-year-old French triathlete, triumphed in the women’s triathlon at the Paris Olympics. In a dramatic and tightly contested race, Beaugrand pulled ahead in the final stages of the run, creating a decisive lead over her competitors. With the support of a cheering home crowd, the Tokyo 2020 mixed relay bronze medallist crossed the finish line and collapsed in exhaustion, completing the event in 1 hour, and 54 minutes. U.S. Women’s Rugby Team
The U.S. women’s rugby team achieved a historic victory, defeating Australia with a decisive conversion to secure Team USA's first-ever Olympic rugby sevens medal. In a thrilling climax to the Paris 2024 Games, Team USA clinched the bronze medal in women’s rugby thanks to a stunning last-minute try by debut Olympian Alex “Spiff” Sedrick.
