Neighbour Rapes, Assaults And Tortures Woman In Madhya Pradesh For A Month, Puts Chilli Powder On Wounds

Recently, a woman from Madhya Pradesh’s Guna district accused her neighbour of raping, assaulting and torturing her for over a month. She claimed that the accused ‘put chilli powder on her wounds,’ according to reports. Scroll down to know all about this terrifying incident.

Woman Tortured By Neighbour In Madhya Pradesh

According to the reports, the accused used to beat, rape, and torture the 23-year-old victim and held her hostage for over a month. The accused, Ayan Pathan has now been taken into custody by the police. This happened following the victim’s admission to a hospital with severe injuries and her complaint filed against Ayan.

As per the woman’s complaint, the accused increased his violence on Tuesday as he beat her with a plastic pipe and belt. She also claimed that Ayan threw chilli powder in her eyes and mouth, and then glued her mouth with adhesive.

The accused apparently befriended the victim and they were both in a relationship. Even after several warnings from her mother, the accused moved in with Pathan. Soon after that, Pathan started torturing her, asking her to transfer her home to him and beat her when she refused. The culprit physically abused the woman even during the holy month of Ramadan and this lasted for about a month.

The matter came to light on Tuesday when Pathan stuffed the woman’s mouth, eyes and wounds with chilli powder and tried to shut her mouth by glueing it with adhesive.

As reported by India Today, “The police also recovered illicit liquor from the accused’s house.”

“The 23-year-old woman was being forced by the accused Ayan Pathan to marry him. The man also wanted her house, which was under her mother’s name, police said… The accused has been charged under Sections 376 (rape), 294 (obscene language), 323 (voluntarily causing pain), and the Excise Act. Police said they could file further charges following an investigation,” the report read.
