Orange can be used to make many types of fresheners. However, you can use its peels to make freshener. The best part is that you can DIY the freshener using ingredients present at home. Put orange peels, some spices and vanilla essence in one glass of boiling water. Let it cook for a while. Switch off the gas when the mixture starts releasing fragrance. Let it cool for a while and fill the mixture in a spray bottle. Now you can use this mixture as a room freshener. You can burn dried orange peels for aroma.

DIY Kitchen Cleaner From Orange Peels

Orange peels can be used to make excellent kitchen cleaners (bathroom cleaning hacks). Make small pieces of orange peels and fill them in a glass bottle or jar. Now add vinegar to it and leave it for 2 to 3 weeks. However, make sure to shake it once in a while during this duration. After 3 weeks you can take out the peels and use the liquid as cleaner.
