The 21-year-old received her crown from Miss Universe 2023, Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua. After her win, the Miss Universe Instagram account shared a post saying, "A new era begins! The grand event took place in Mexico City Arena, with Mario Lopez and Olivia Culpo as hosts. During her speech, Theilvig encouraged people to continue fighting, no matter where they come from, and shared her desire to make history through her victory, as per PEOPLE.

Victoria Kjaer Theilvig won hearts with her answer during the competition when asked about the most important quality a Miss Universe should have. She responded as per Hindustan Times, "A Miss Universe must embody empathy and action, listening to the world’s challenges and using her platform to make a tangible impact. This includes advocating for those who don’t have a voice, whether they are animals or people in need of a champion." The pageant was held at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, where Victoria celebrated her victory with fellow contestants after the win.
Who Is Victoria Kjaer Theilvig?
Victoria Kjaer Theilvig aspired to be a beauty queen from the age of five, inspired by watching international beauty pageants, especially Miss Universe. At 17, she competed in her first pageant, Miss Denmark, and placed as second runner-up. In 2022, she represented Denmark at Miss Grand International, finishing in the Top 20.

In September 2024, she was crowned Miss Universe Denmark, just two months before the global competition. Victoria holds a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing and aims to pursue a law degree at Harvard University. She has a background as a professional dancer, competing in European and World Championships, and teaches dance. Interestingly, she has also ventured into the diamond industry, specialising in diamond sales.
