Telly Actor Vaibhavi Upadhyaya No More, Here's All You Need To Know

Telly celebrity Vaibhavi Upadhyaya who was best known for her role on the popular show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai is no more. The 32-year-old actor lost her life in a car accident on May 23, 2023. The news of Vaibhavi's sudden demise was reported by producer JD Majethia.

He took to his Instagram story and shared that the accident took place in North India. His post read, "Life is so unpredictable. A very fine actress, dear friend Vaibhavi Upadhyay popularly known as 'Jasmine' of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai passed away. She met with an accident in the north. Family will bring her to Mumbai tomorrow morning around 11 am for last rites. RIP Vaibhavi (sic)."

The news of Vaibhavi's death came along with the demise of Anupamaa and Om Shanti Om actor Nitesh Pandey who died of a heart attack and actor Aditya Singh Rajput who died after falling in his bathroom. The actor was best known for shows like Splitsvilla, Love, and Aashiqui among others.

Vaibhavi's Journey In The Showbiz

Upadhyaya made it to both small and big screens through her journey. She starred in shows like 'CID', 'Adaalat', 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai', 'Kya Qusoor Hai Amala' Ka among others. She also featured in movies like 'Chhapaak' which starred Deepika Padukone and the web series 'Please Find Attached'. It was with her character Jasmine on the show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai that she rose to fame. JD Majethia in an interview with a news daily recently shared that she wanted to be back with the show. Majethia shared that Vaibhavi asked him to bring back another season of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai every time he would tell her that she deserves a big break. She felt that the show was her big break since her character became so popular.

In an interview, JD Majethia confirmed that Vaibhavi went to North India with her fiance for a holiday and the car fell into the gorge.

The telly word is shocked at the sudden demise of actor Vaibhavi Upadhyaya. Rupali Ganguly who also starred on the show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai shared a picture of Vaibhavi on her Instagram handle and wrote, "Gone too soon Vaibhavi.."
